CIFA Request

The Bravo Six Foundation’s Critical Incident Financial Assistance (CIFA) Program provides immediate, short-term support to veterans and first responders facing unexpected financial hardship. This program is designed to help bridge urgent gaps with essential needs, offering up to $50 for food and groceries, up to $25 for fuel, and up to $250 for utility assistance, with additional support for rent or mortgage considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of Bravo Six. Applicants must be a current or former member of the U.S. military or a verified first responder and must provide valid identification such as a DD214, a driver’s license indicating veteran status, a Veteran ID Card, or an official First Responder ID.

All applicants will be required to provide documentation of the expense, including bills, invoices, or account statements. To ensure funds are used appropriately, all payments are made directly to the billing company or vendor, and under no circumstances will cash be provided to any applicant. Assistance may not cover the full balance of any expense, and the program does not cover non-essential expenses, late fees, penalties, personal debts, or deposits.

Each household is eligible for one approved assistance request per calendar year. Submission of an application does not guarantee assistance, and all support is subject to available funding. Bravo Six reserves the right to deny any application at its discretion, and all decisions are final. Any false or misleading information will result in denial and may disqualify the applicant from future assistance.

Applications are typically reviewed within 1–2 business days. Our goal is to provide timely, responsible assistance to those who have served our communities and our country when they need it most.
